Our stance

Corobate exists to make decisions honest and provable. Acceptable use follows directly from that purpose: use the Service to attest what you actually did, and represent its receipts truthfully. The product is designed so that dishonest use is hard — a receipt is sealed before it is shown, every input carries its provenance, and any third party can re-run the decision. This policy states the few boundaries plainly.

Use the Service to

• Seal and verify decisions your organization actually makes, with inputs labeled honestly by provenance.
• Embed Corobate in your product so your customers can independently verify what your platform decided.
• Publish, forward, and re-run receipts to demonstrate diligence to auditors, counterparties, and regulators.

Do not

• Misrepresent a receipt. Do not present a MODELED or SELLER-ASSERTED figure as independently verified, alter a sealed receipt outside the Service, strip provenance labels, or imply a verdict the receipt does not carry.
• Fabricate inputs. Do not feed the Engine evidence you know to be false in order to manufacture a favorable seal. A seal attests the process over the inputs given; it is not a warrant that you supplied honest inputs, and doing so undermines the one thing the product is for.
• Attack the Service or other users. No attempts to breach security, exceed technical limits through automated abuse, disrupt availability, or reverse-engineer the Engine outside a right granted in your agreement.
• Use it unlawfully. No use to facilitate fraud, sanctions evasion, market manipulation, or other illegal activity; no use to impersonate a person or entity.

Ethical commitments we hold ourselves to

• Honest abstention. The Engine is allowed to say "insufficient evidence," and we will not weaken that to flatter a result.
• No selling of your data; no advertising in the applications.
• OEM-only for partners: we render under your brand and do not compete for your customer.
• Continuity by design: receipts re-run offline and independently of us. Verification is self-hostable today — the verifier is a static page you can serve yourself; source escrow with a named agent is available to design partners on request.

Security disclosure

If you find a vulnerability, report it to partners@corobate.com and give us a reasonable chance to remediate before public disclosure. We welcome good-faith research and will credit it on request.

Enforcement

Misuse may lead to suspension or termination of access under the applicable agreement. Sealed receipts already produced remain independently verifiable regardless; that is the point of the design.
